Default Web browser speed

I (and everyone else) think (know) that Engadget browser test was BS. So could somebody make a video with this test?

no problem, after engadgets ****ty review, i was on the lookout for better tests.

Anyone have any logical idea why engadgest's test was that bad?

Josh is an Apple fanboy? I don't know, but this seems to be an especially threatening device for many Apple/MS fanboys and Google haters. The worst has to be the 6 reasons not to like the Nexus One (http://www.pcworld.com/businesscente...nexus_one.html) which seems to have no clue how to even use the device.

Current Android
myTouch 4G (plum, CM7 nightly, SwiftKey Beta, lots of testing)
T-Mobile Galaxy Tab (stock load)

Previous Android
G2 (in park, deciding if I want to sell it)
Charm (Returned)
Nexus One (Sold)
Black G1 (Sold)

Blueman:
Visit it on the iPhone a couple of times beforehand. Don't visit it on the Nexus One. Then, run lots of background tasks on the Nexus. If you're really desperate, connect the iPhone through WiFi and the Nexus One through 2G. Easy as pie, really.

Then best way to make this test proper, you need to clear browser cache on iPhone? Now way they did that...

IMO, the Nexus browser is a big step up from my G1 browser. Even unrooted, its blowing my G1 out of the water. I've visited Engadget on my Nexus, on 3G, caches cleared. It's nowhere near as slow as Engadget put it out to be. I can tell Joshua is starting to piss off many Engadget readers.

My router has the option to rate-limit a mac address....
Maybe theirs does too...
