HTC ear-phone problem

The HTC ear-phones I got with my Topaz have an weird problem. When I hit the volum buttons on the ear-phones, it starts calling one of my contacts.

Anyone else encountering the same problem, or have a solution?

Yes if you hold Reply button it will call another contact.

Isn't the buttons for volum at all?
