Summary:

Super duper fast (dare I say fastest?) and stable Vogue-Android build with sprinkles! Heavily themed with some nice Donut upgrades. Works in both 240x320 and 320x480. [SDCard/EXT2/NAND]


The Sprinkles:

• Some of the new features in RLS 5 (04-24-2010) include:
  
  • More performance improvements
  • Added patched tattoo Market That allows full market (all apps) regardless of resolution
  • Added faux HTC flipclock/Weather widget
  • New boot animation (Special thanks to pyrator)
  • Updated SpareParts which has now has a bunch of new goodies (home app in memory, Compcache/swap settings)
  • New RIL that defaults MCC to 310 and MNC to 260 eliminating dependency on paid market service script. (Special thanks to dzo)
  • Updated ADW Nexus Launcher now with full Nexus launcher fade in. No more drawer flicking upwards
  • Configurable number home screens (up to 7 now)
  • Quick uninstall feature, Just drag app icon over the launcher drawer and hold it until you see the uninstall message.
  • Updated Astro File manager
  • Added Rogue Tools allowing you to dynamically overclock and change screen density
  • New skinned Calendar and Widget.

  Installation:
  
  NoMoRootFS Instructions for SDCard:
  
  1. Download either the 320x480 or 240x320 version
  2. Backup! than, clear whatever "android" stuff you have from sdcard (I dont want it to get caught up in the install) especially your andboot folder
  3. Extract contents of downloaded zip to temporary directory
  4. Copy extracted /andboot folder to the ROOT of your SDCard
  5. Run HaRET, than hit “run” to launch android
  6. Press and hold center of dpad after hitting "run" and follow the directions in the NoMoRootFs menu system
  
  
  NoMoRootFS Instructions for NAND:
  
  1. Download either the 320x480 or 240x320 version
  2. Extract contents of downloaded zip to temporary directory
  3. Using the androidinstall.tar file follow the directions here
  
  
  Classic SQSH method:
  
  1. Download SQSH package
  2. Backup! than, clear whatever "android" stuff you have from sdcard (I dont want it to get caught up in the install) especially your android folder

  Notes:
  • I excluded google nav in this release. US users can download from Market, International users can use the included NavLauncher and download the international version directly.
  • Desk Clock doesn’t interface with weather properly yet. Also the audible portion of the alarm in Desk Clock doesn't work either. Instead use the included "Alarm Clock" application. I am still working on it.
  • The first time you boot this release you’ll notice it takes a little longer than the previous release of Warm Donut. This is because all of the files are now de-odexed. This will give us some serious functionality in upcoming updates for theming. All subsequent boots should be quite fast.
  • The 240x320 version is configured for 110 LCD density to support the Eclair applications.

When I hit volume down to upgrade it says...ext2fs_check_if_mount: no such file or directory while determining wether /dev/block/mmcblkop2 is mounted.

It then just sits there. Worked fine with older rootfs versions. Any ideas?

zImage-14-01-10

Included in the zip?

I've seen this before when it's upgrading the ext2 partition from the sqsh. It just takes awhile to unpack (This sqsh unpacked to ext2 is 156mb). Give it a bit and see if it continues.

Is anyone else having this problem?
