I'd like to know if I need to do any specific things cause I tried without installing any drivers and it won't opened the com port 2(IN bootloader)
thanks

just want to add my acknowledgement here that this thread is solving my problem where my HD2 would unexpectedly hardreset by itself, or hang upon a softreset (well, expectedly if you consider that the phone will hard reset after 3-4 hours of usage)
The interesting observation I've is that a stock flash doesn't solve my problem. I did a mtty, flash a stock rom, then a custom rom flash, and it didn't work.
however, mtty then custom rom, now my rom is running fine for 24 hours w/o any freeze/hardreset (previously, it consistently didn't last more than 6 hrs)

Hi,
Im glad this helped you out, and yes you are right, in the case of the HD" it seems that stock rom flashing doesnt fi the issue anymore, it works sometimes but not others, which in my opinion renders it obsolete!

Thanks!
agreed, once the drivers are in and the MTTY process takes about 3-4 seconds depending on how fast you type!

did everything "to the book", i successfully changed the driver (now i have a 2004 one that replaced the 2007 one) but after step 7a i didn't get from MTTY any answer. i had to disconnect and the results made me sweat :something very bad happened to my HD2...i had strange screens as i never seen before and lots of error messages (see attached pics). luckily i do not faint easy...lol!
i managed to reflash the HSPL and get back from where i started (boot on my latest flashed ROM). finally, i reflashed from the SD card a stock ROM (found the one suitable after my third attempt), reflashed the HSPL and reflashed the cooked ROM i had from the beginning. the result is that since then (4 days ago) i have no more freezes and sudden hard-resets!
1. Q: why the MTTY did not respond at 7a? i have to mention that i am using Vista 32
2. my personal conclusion: flashing a stock ROM from the SD card does help.

There are worse Screens then those
Though i don't know if the Power Failure Blue Screen also exists on HD2 and T-Series of HTC.

your driver install got corrupted, the only reason 7a would not answer is in the is an AS driver problem! to fix, connect HD2 in bootloader, uninstall it from device manager, remove the USB, reboot, still in bootloader reconnect usb and reinstall the drivers

Sadly you are incorrect, it works sometimes, but not others. there is no point really discussing it because most of the chefs also agree on this point.
Yes you may have fixed it this time, but there has already been a post here stating that this didnt work for someone!
you screenshots look like a bad flash, nothing more!
