The camera doesn't work on 5.0.8 t0 so far. It just shows the black screen when I tried to launch it. But other then that, everything looks great. The Launcher has improved a lot though.

EDIT: I wiped everything and did Factory Reset. then everything works fine now.

@koreandutch did you flash the froyo radio, 4.06.00.12_7? Due to changes with the way video is handled in both 5.0.8 and Android 2.2, you NEED that radio in order to use the camcorder and video. The old radio is now only for 5.0.7.1 and Android 2.1. Download the froyo radio image from n0rp.chemlab.org , then boot your n1 in fastboot, cd to wherever the radio image is stored on your PC, rename the radio image to radio.img or type the name of the radio EXACTLY as it is named. The command you'll use in fastboot is as follows:

fastboot devices (this is to check that fastboot is detecting your device)

fastboot flash radio radio.img (or the actual name of the radio image EXACTLY as it is named)

when it is done writing the image to your phone, type:

fastboot reboot

Thanks, i must ahve read it wrong...i thought that it was just the img...so is there any reason to flash to 5.8 or its not that much of a difference from 5.7.1???

too many Reboots with 5.0.8 experimental and FROYO radio. Everytime i get a phone call or SMS it reboots

It requires the FROYO radio so yes. Otherwise Camera will give you a FC or reboot.
