tried flashing Rom....reloading rom...cleaned sim area with alcohol...no good...looks like tilt died...it was more than 2 years old.....initially it worked with the keyboard slide out, but now thats gone too...and so is the storage card now...tilt not reading it too

i ran into a similar problem last month. long story short, your device is exhibiting classic signs that your main flex cable is loose/cracked/broken.

i had mine replaced, now its good as new.

I have a similar problem on a brand new ZTE Blade .
Can anyone with a blade please make a picture of two sides of the sim socket with the sim left out?
Because for my model it seems some of the sim pins are broken off.
I would like to compare.

So it might be this issue for others too: I had a micro sim with a holder and my moms replacing it might have broken off some of the pins

For those who have a sd card unreadable - change your flex cable you can get it online which I have done cost about USD15 excluding shipping.

For those who have a sim card not reading - change your sim card socket cost less than USD10 Excluding shipping which I bought online.

And I have both spare.Becareful to ask for new ones If not like my experience I get a sample or used one which the sd card slot doesn't work. Get a reliable company's.Now what I need is a keypad for my kaiser.
