Lightbulb Task Managers and your [Android Device]

I read this and would like to share it with Android users here on xda so that you can have some information about memory usage before deciding how you should be using a task killer with your device. This does not only apply to the Hero, Eris, or HTC devices for that matter. It applies to any device running the Android operating system.

Lightbulb How to configure Android's *internal* taskkiller

I've also stumbled across this thread on our very own xda about configuring the settings for Android's native task killer. Unfortunately this requires root so we won't be able to use it until then but something to keep in mind for any ROMs we put out if tests seem to do as well as they have been for the hero guys.

I was reading in another forum about benefits (or lack of) task killers and found some good information. I came to our themes and apps section to repost, but I searched our section first to see if anything had already been posted. I came across this thread which hasn't been replied to since February and thought it needed to be bumped back up for all to read. If you read the link in the op (yes, I know it is very long winded but read it all), it is loaded with tons of facts and great knowledge.
