Network usage by 1013?

I was already posting in this thread, but i think this problem is more general.

short summary:
My battery lasts max 8 hrs without heavy use.

I've installed spare parts, and also checked the battery usage in the bootloader screen.

It turns out that most of the network usage is caused by "1013" when i try to get more info, bootloader screen doesn't tell, and spare parts crashes.

Theres also 1010, but this doesn't use much network

Does anyone know which process this is, and how to turn it off, or prevent it from using network and battery?

I've not rooted my device (yet) so please take that into account.

Thx for your response but that's the exact same overview as spare parts gives me. Its also listed as 1013 on there btw

must be something you've installed :/ not sure anyone will know what it is, it it was routed you may be able to get a deeper insight, but if you don't want to I'd suggesting removing any apps you can think of that it might be until it stops. 'fraid that's all I can suggest.

yeah, i already was going that road,

I do want to root it, but only after i know for certain this device is rocksolid and no need to send it back to HTC because of dust or whatever reason

The battery usage thing happened once for me and I'm pretty sure it was just a program that failed to go to sleep properly. Reboot fixed it just fine and haven't seen it since.

I use SDK ddms to find out which app was hogging my batt I went from 12 hrs to 48 hrs I charged my phone fri and its just now at 23%. stock mms would not let my phone sleep.

Can you give some details on how to find this out? What to look for in ddms? All I know how to do with ddms is take screenshots

it is in the same little box you take pics in plug the phone mount and start sdk go to ddms click on you device and in the box on the botom you will see what sevices and apps are reaching out to the network. leave the phone mounted put your phone to sleep and whatch the box you will see the activities as they happen I watched weather widgets and the stock MMS suck the life out of my battery

I am having this same exact problem and I cant seem to find out what is causing it either. Maybe we can make a list of what apps we have installed and try to pinpoint it? Any other findings please update
