if you have time to try is possible to make a build with x11 an varius D.E.

Thanks. I have visited that site earlier too.
Which machine option should I select for building rootfs image for HTC Gene? the da850| l138 omap is not an omap850 device.
I downloaded the rootfs image for da850, but it has an uboot kernel image. I need a zImage to work with haret? You atleast got the kernel booting. I get "Jumping to kernel" error with custom compiled linux kernel 3.0/3.3.
Where can I find zImage and initrd files for the downloaded rootfs image?

I don't know if this can help..
When i had the HTC Rhodium here they found a way to use boot.img instead of zimage:
http://www.neopeek.com/

You had to partition sd card (system, data and cache for Android if i remember correctly ) and their kernel came with clockworkmod.
So everything was 99% like a native android device and faster with the specific partitions.
Maybe this newer approach can give better results using that standardization with official android
Samsung Galaxy S3 AT&T
Nexus 7
Samsung Captivate

Thanks. I will try the guide for installing Android. But probably my device HTC Gene is not supported. It has support in wing-linux. But most Android roms are not functioning completely. I don't have bluetooth, sound, etc.
I would like to run pure Linux (Angstrom is fine in wing-linux), but I want to try Linux GUI on it and add packages mostly "gcc".
From wing-linux I have Linux kernel, initrd and root filesystem, but I am unable to add more packages (GUI and gcc).
Are the original repositories for wing-linux working?
How can I get version 2011.3 working on my HTC Gene?
I get rootfs from online-builder (can't choose proper option), but where can I find kernel and initrd files?
Does newer vanilla or Angstrom kernel have support for sound, bluetooth, etc?
