Default Exchange Server Support?

Does the Eris with 1.5 support MS Exchange Server? If so, what services sync? Email, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks?

Any speculation on what a 2.x Android will do?

My understanding with non Exchange that pop, imap, Gmail, Gcalendar and Gcontacts are available but no tasks.

Default RE: Exchange Server Support?

My Eris (1.5) is syncing Mail, Calendar, and Contacts with our Exchange 2003 server. I'm not really sure about Tasks. I don't use them and don't see anything about them. Everything else works well.

I have installed 2.1 (the leaked version) and it gives full exchange support! calendar, contacts, and email are all working.. not sure on the tasks though.

Thanks guys. Do you think the sms bugs where it drains the battery are fixed in this release?

For the Eris there wasnt a battery drain from the Stock SMS app. That was the CDMA Hero.

The only SMS bug I know of was the 'blank message' bug, and as far as I can see that was resolved in mr2.

Never mind. I found out how to add an email address. I just didn't look close enough the first time.
