Yes, I agree, it's too insensitive to perform Swype keyboard as well as in other devices....

I've got no problems with mine - one thing to try :-

When calibrating the touch screen, use the stylus but press very lightly on the crosshairs, just gently touching them should work - this is because calibration also calibrates the pressure needed to register.

So if you do this lightly instead of stabbing at them hard and fast you should get a more touch sensitive experience.

Hope this helps

+1 for that.
I had to recalibrate mine (the seller had done it rather carelessly, and tg reacted as if I had touched the screen more than 2mm under where I actually did!)
Calibration worked though I almost did not press, and touch experience has been real fine since.

Paul,

Many thanks for that suggestion - I've been using Resistive touchscreen for years and must admit I hadn't realised that the Screen Calibration affected touch sensitivty as well as accuracy. Have now recalibrated my TG01 with feather-touch on the cross-hairs as you suggest and can definitely see the difference.

Well done - great tip !

**** is real . winmo stores the required pressure amount to trigger an action in a value in registry ... there are reg tweaks for this for other winmo phones , but calibrating it like this is faster and easier
