Default Milestone doesn't go past boot

Hi,

I got a tip about Live wallpapers on milestone, so i eagerly tried out the recipe. It consisted of moving some *.so files, some apk files and a framework.jar file.

While in the middle of transferring the .so files my launcher2 (port from nexus 2.1) stopped working, and was force closing every sec. I tried rebooting, but the phone never went past the Android logo (bootanimation).

I can still go to recovery mode and select wipe data/hard reset but it doesn't do anything. Wiped twice now without any effect.

Does anyone have any further ideas? I thought maybe putting in an update.zip with some magical mumbojumbo that would transform my phone into a working one again..

Alright i checked some other posts and forums, it seems a nandroid backup would be necessary.

I will try to find a nandroid backup then...****

Edit: Some more searching and consulting with droidforums.net concluded that I have shat my pants. There is apparently no way I will be able to get past this bootproblem. Sorry to those that come here hoping for a solution as we are **** out of luck

I got exactly the same problem 1 week ago.

If you are a french user... big_adventure backups don't work for nandroid backup..
I suggest another forum for a french backup that works :
http://www.frandroid.com/forum/viewt...107258#p107258

I got my milestone back and working.

I tried once again Livewallpapers (overwriting existing libs and framework) and it works now. But i got some Reboots....
