how did you get this to work with Desire camera? what rom are you running and what steps did you do?

i tried running desire camera on cyan's 5.0.5.3; first i flashed the rom, then camera, yet the camera wouldn't work on cyan's kernel (maybe i need to wipe everything and do a fresh install)

Pershoot, yes this kernel is great with the volume; had a phone call earlier and when i answered, the volume was loud enough for me to double check if it was on speaker phone (which it wasn't)

CM 5.0.5.3, update to Desire camera app through recovery, then fastboot just the zImage afterwards

should i wipe everything first because i tried just flashing cyan's over my current cyan's 5.0.5.3 with pershoot's kernel, and flashing desire camera through recovery and yet the camera always forced close;

i'm thinking i need to do complete wipe

btw, i had it working on Enom's rom with his kernel with audio boost, uv-oc, desire cam, but now i am using cyan's with jit

I only wipe Cache, wipe Da. Cache, wipe Battery Status & wipe Rotation.

I didn't wipe to factory default and also the ext. storage.

After this, I install the Desire Camera via RA-Recovery and Reboot.

Go in the phone and check the camera is working without any FC, off course the Overclock is not working then,

I off the phone and boot to fastboot and re-apply the UV/OC kernel and reboot.

Now my Desire Camera, Overclock (I believe undervolt still working, the temperature is same as before.) and WiFi also work.

Dear Pershoot,

May I know what the .ko file actually do? I check my phone and that .ko file actually still inside /system/lib/modules.

Is means actually no need to re-push the file right? cause once I re-push the file, the Desire Camera will start given FC again.

what about the ringtone volume? is it much louder too?
