HTC Touch Diamond 2 -Enhanced Capacity Li-Polymer 1100mAh

Hi All

I have come access the following "enhanced" battery for the HTC Touch Diamond 2/HTC Diamond II(T5353)/O2 Xda Diamond 2/HTC Tattoo.

I cannot paste the link so go to Expansys's website so search for product #194635 on Expansys.

Has anyone ever used this enhanced battery or something similar (not the BIG hi-capacity) ones? Does anyone know if the standard TD2 charger (charges the standard Li-Ion battery) would charge a Li-Polymer.

Yesterday I ordered battery on ebay = search "1700mah Spare Battery for HTC Dopod T5353 Diamond 2 II".

ya i've been doing some reading and from what i can tell, there shouldn't be a problem charging...infact, i think ill be buying one soon, as my current chrging schedule (once every 1.5 days) is just too often.

how would u ship this to CPT out of interest?

Expansys's SA website (add the coza) ships it for a standard price of R35 rand.

The 1700mah Spare Battery for HTC Dopod T5353 Diamond 2 II has really caught my interest...

I wonder if this really is compatible with the HTC Touch Diamond 2?

If its the Andida 1700mAh one, it really isnt what they specify. Its around 1000mAh which is similar if not exactly the same as the stock HTC one for the TD2
