Default Format of Video files

Hello Everybody,

I want to know which files can be played in the Coreplayer of TG01.
If they need to be converted, then to which format and to which size (eg 240*320 etc)
I have been trying with different formats but no use. It only shows some weird green lines and stuff.
Also please recommend some conversion soft. I am using Super converter.

I'm not 100% sure, but using CorePlayer(preinstalled on tg01) you should be able to play a lot of video formats(.avi[divx, xvid], 3gp, mp4, etc) so no need of converting.

Yes, Core Player handles all typical formats out of the box. There is also a selector page where you can choose exactly which file types.

As an example I play MPEG video files encoded at full 800x640 4 (sometimes 8) MBits/s, 29.97fps, and 480kBit/s audio.

I suggest you have a browse through the settings screens on Core Player - there are many configurable options, but sounds like you have the wrong graphics type selected.

Go Tools|Settings|Select Page|Video ... then set
Video Output = GDI
Video Quality = High
Smooth Zoom = ONly for 50%
Dither = Checked

Hope that helps,
Devices:

2). Toshiba e830 WiFi+BT, WM2003SE + OzVGA; 32GB CF, 4GB SD, Garmin cfQue 1620 GPS; Audiovox GSM/GPRS data CF; Socket LP-E Ethernet
External Storage

Multimedia:
Audio: PocketMusic 5.3.5 up to 1141k kBits/s (.wav) + Westone W4R canalphones, Video: Skinned Core Player MPEG 1 up to 8MBits/s
