Hi
I've used the HD2 for a bit and loved the modsyou could put on the sense ui.
Canyou do the same on android? Or are you lumbered with it as it comes?
Also, can you play avi ( xvid/divx) and iplayer on android ?
Thanks for the help

I think the post meant ...mods you...

From all the videos that I've seen, the Sense on the Desire is far more customisable (all seven screens) than a Windows device.

Yes, i did mean "Mod's you"....it was late and i was typing on iphone etc etc.

By mods, i mean just the look of the sense interface.. ie: change the way the clock looks alter/remove curtain bars, reduce opacity on various menu bars etc....nothing to fancy, just superficial stuff.

I know you can put different wigets on to you home screens which is cool too

Again, based on videos, the HTC Sense on the Desire is made to be customisable, i.e add/remove widgets, etc. Where as Sense on HD2 (for eg) you have to loads up cabs/files to do the same but the basic layout is still going to be the same on WinMo/Sense interface.

I've used a WinMo devices for over 5 years now but I dont see much progress being made on the OS; so I'm waiting for the Desire to come to T-Mobile UK and I'll probably upgrade to that.

Thanks chaps,
Good news.
That was precisely what I meant (loading up cabs etc on HD2)
glad I can do similar on the Desire.
Had the HD2 about a week prior to the Desire being shown in Barcelona... Luckily I was still in the 14 day cooling off period so I sent it back and decided to wait till April for a new phone, I did have a pang of regret tho when I sent it back, it's a lovely bit of kit the HD2, winmo or not, it was such a refreshing change from my locked down iPhone which is now really boring me !
Roll on April !
Cheers again
