Depends on if your phone is GSM or CDMA. Youre really not giving us ANY data to troubleshoot.... You could try the search tool also.

of getting flamed, I am stuck on this too.
I can get android running fine and dandy, but can't get vodafone (UK) signal on my phone. Data has been set up to work, just phone calls are the things I can't make, which is a bit of a shame to say the least.

I've looked at the forums (I think I'm GSM phone - but not 100%) but don't know how to get it working. Can someone take pity on me and show me what I need to do?

When you say you can't make calls, does it even get on the network? If so, does it establish a data connection that you can use? If so, what aspect of the call fails?

It logs in and can search for a signal e.g. vodafone, but always remains unconnected, i.e. saying it's just at airplane mode. About to double check so I can write accurately the problem.

I have data (e.g. bbc page on my phone so it's obviously working to some degree)

Really weird, but there was a similar issue with Vodafone NL. So maybe it is related. You might try PMing phh about it. He may be able to help.

I log in, and it says "no service - selected network (Orange PCS LTD) unavailable" which is odd as I was trying to get it on vodafone.

Checking to "select uatomatically" under the network settings says "registered on network" or whatever the positive phrase is, but still nothing works.

Interestingly enough, there is NO internet either

Just as I suspected. I think this might be related to the same Vodafone NL issues. Message phh and he may be able to help.
