Default WiFi tether for Root users trouble on N1?
so recently got the N1, rooted, all that good stuff. Tried using the wifi tether and no dice. My computer just wont see it. but, ill go back to using it with my mytouch and its all fine. any insight into why this could be happening? ive tried it on a desire rom and cyanogens latest.

working for me on CM 5.0.4.1

are you installing the nexus version of http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/ ?

i tried it out today and it worked like a charm. i then proceeded to delete pdanet
