it might help if you said what the error message was... a common culprit is that you have to select "run as administrator" on vista/7

sorry for asking again, but because your response was a bit ambiguous, are you running this as admin?
also, does the error come before or after putting it in bootloader mode? what button combination are you using to get to bootloader mode?
