Again, don't want to piss anybody off, just posting my findings and what I could do to help out getting this done.

Editing the title of the thread now and I will look into fixing some more stuff a little more tonight and tomorrow. I did this ROM very quickly tonight and will hopefully get something better up tomorrow. But hey, good beta testing, right?

Hey Man,

Thanks for your effort! I really appreciate it. Hopefully we can get the best of both worlds with yours and flipz' findings. A fast 2.1 rom with working market, camera, video etc.

Back to the subject, it looks like the account credential reboot error that flipz' rom had is not an issue in this one. I've rebooted a few times and I don't get asked to enter the password for any of my accounts!

Like I said, not taking any credit. All credit goes to you and gbhil. Just thought I would post this up to get some feedback and help some people out.

I know, I was just saying. But for what it's worth... I didn't break stuff customizing the rom. Some stuff didn't work... there's a difference. Mine is not at all based on the Eris build.

See, I think this is cool. This is what open source community is all about. We will all benefit now from fully working 2.1 ROMs!
