Any chance at this working on stock FRF83?
The test alerts work, but it doesn't seem to intercept any alerts and flash the custom colors

No chance unless you have a deodexed ROM (ie not "stock" stock) and install the update.zip.

Finally got to the bottom of my flickering issue. It wasn't this app at all. It was LED Hack. It doesn't like the TBAP framework so was giving me these issues. I have uninstalled it and now it's all good. I will try the patched one (garbled text fix) but suspect that will be fine too now.
