Question When to unlock?

If my Nexus One is working all correctly, and I have extensively used it for 3 days, is it alright to unlock and root?

I heard the warranty is void if you do it, and if something breaks (hardware) HTC will still fix it, is it true?

It's not guaranteed that they'll fix it regardless of what the problem is after unlocking. That said, go ahead and unlock/root and take full advantage of your phone

Quite frankly, it's a maybe-maybe not scene regarding the warranty. Technically, rooting void the software warranty, but they may link a hardware failure to a 'cause by software' reason... so you never know...

But what the hell, root the damn phone and enjoy the cooking!!! :P... I did it the day I bought my phone... and I'm damn glad I did it!!! :D
