Default The Offical Root is HERE FINALLY THREAD

Download removed, go ahead and thank user nimdae for pointing out the wrongness of my work. I am done with Eris dev work because of people like him.

nimdae <-- that user right there.

NO OTHER PERSON BUT YOURSELF, AND ONLY YOU are responsible if it breaks your phone, or anything else. Don't blame me if it doesn't work, or if something happens down the line. I am NOT the originator or even host of this IMG. If your phone turns into skynet, YOUR FAULT NOT MINE. Same if it stops working, you fault not mine.

DOWNLOAD IT NOW!!

Hats off to all the devs, esp to Caboose.

DO NOT UPDATE TO THE LEAKED 2.1.

We can go from 1.5, to ROOTED 2.1.
param
Not from LEAKED 2.1 to ROOTED 2.1

Our chat is in irc.wastate.net / or ircd.thefuzz.net

As to how this was found / done, I quote myself from IRC:
"<caboose> Lets just say i happened to come buy this SIGNED pre-rooted ROM while strolling the dungeons of the HTC building in taiwan (its true, i had to slay a dragon too.)"

We will post the ROM in question soon, just making sure there aren't any fatal bugs etc.

Awesome job XDA Eris development team!!!

I unfortunately have already updated so I will watch and wait, I'm sure it won't be long

I will also be anxiously waiting for someone to solve the rollback issues, as I'm sure someone will eventually. I never thought I actually want to go back to 1.5

Congratulations!! I too upgraded to 2.1 (just last night! doh!) and am now debating whether to complain about my phone to get a refurb or wait until you either crack the rollback or a 2.1 root....

Yea I think waiting patiently seems like a better option. I can't believe you guys got it, how cool.
