USB Car Charger

Hi all. Have a simple question. I was given a USB car charger that has the following characteristics:

INPUT:12-24VDC
OUTPUT: 5.0 700mA

Can I use this to charge my N1 without any trouble?

I would say there is a decent chance.

And it works great! I had my N1 plugged in for an entire 5 hour trip as I was using the Navigation I have also used converters with the default plug that worked ok but did notice my phone getting pretty warm after 3-4 hours of use with that.

Thanks for the reply. I was concern that this charger might damage my beloved phone :) if I used it.

Please, what´s the mA output of this charger?

What the... Your phone doesn't get hot after using it for 5 minutes with the GPS? My phone gets up to 104 Degrees in about 5 minutes with the GPS on!

I couldn't tell you off the top of my head and after a quick 5min Google search couldn't find any information.
All I can say is that it has effectively charged my Nexus One, iPod Touch 3rd gen & Zune HD. I plan on trying it with my PSP and Bluetooth next

I did notice it getting warm but I wouldn't say it was "hot". I used it literally for a 4 hour drive to Tahoe once. It was pretty cold outside once we got into Tahoe though...maybe that helped?

I searched for more than half an hour...nothing about mA...anyway, I ordered it.
It just looks like the best solution for me...
