Control android media player from PC

I want to control the Media Player on my Nexus One from my PC. This is exactly the opposite of what is done by GMote. This will let me keep my Nexus One connected with speakers from my PC and still play songs on it. Searched a while in Google and XDA, but couldn't find one.

Im looking for something along the same lines but to remote control an android tablet.

I am looking for one too.
I want to connect my Android Mobile to my Sound System, and would like to control media playback and volume from my PC.

Please help.

Purchased Phantom music control but it just allows you to control music from the lock screen, it didn't work on my GS2 and was very laggy

Looking for something like this as well. We have speakers built into our ceiling in our house and use my evo to play music all the time, being able to control the evo from far away w/ a laptop or another android phone would be awesome.

I'm looking for something like this too, any ideas?
