VillainROM4.0 Beta2 – More Stable BUILD

Overview

This BETA build is a port of a recent WWE 2.1 Legend dump. You'll be pleased to know that the speed of Rosie is double what it was before.
This is a very solid build, which is incredibly stable.

WHEN INSTALLING> Follow this process:~

1. Nandroid Backup
2. FULL WIPE (Might work without if coming from Villain 4.0 Beta
3. Flash the ROM
4. Follow the setup wizard
5. When Sense has fully loaded, reboot.
6. Download Spare Parts from market and set transitions to FAST.
7. Restore/Install all apps, then reboot again> this should cache some of your apps, and speed up the system.
8. Test, Test, Test!

It was caused by the Google Search bar widget after all.

Known Issues



Google Search Bar widget causes the Sense FC - Homersp has fixed this, and the update.zip has been added to first post.

GPS issue still exists. Please reboot phone with GPS on from settings for a temp fix. I am working on fixing this across all 2.1 Sense roms. Again, Please wait until Monday/Tuesday.

Rotation Bug still exists in Gallery3D-MT

ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE LOOKING AT THIS ROM

As Nathan is away for the weekend there has been various update.zip hot fixes made in his absence to fix tiny bugs and problems.

There are fixes for Apps2SD issues (if you have any) as well as removing the flashing trackball lights (if it bothers you that much)

See i was going to post and ruin your reserved, but decided not to, downloading now and will flash as soon as I can, bit slow at work this afternoon now anyway.

I haven't tried Benham's build without the changes, so I couldn't tell you.

The first blindingly obvious difference is that all apps show in the market.
Other than that, it should be slightly quicker right from the go... but give it 2-3 days, and I'll HUGELY improve the speed.

Updates should all be no-wipe, too
