First of all it is stable based on "Gen.Y R5.3 MultiLANG MultiDEVICE Kitchen" thanks to "yozgaty" for this great work.

Memo Rom Team managed to make the same rom fast and reliable, with more free ram for your applications. We did this with bringing down the pagepool from 12 to 10 (freeing more memory) and heavily optimizing the kernel (for more speed, very close to 12).

• Our memory tweaks and new optimized kernel does not work well at FULL Version

. So as MEMO Team , we decide to stop the development of FULL Version. As everyone knows, there were ONLY 2 difference between FULL and LIGHT Version.

But you can still have “Document Tab” by using “ Document.Cab”

• Starting from version "Memo 2.5.2.1-LIGHT", "Co0kie's HOME TAB" is included in MEMO ROMs. The reason is simple. They run better and faster when "cooked in". Anything you install in cab format after a ROM flash, will slow down your phone compared to when it's already in the ROM.

But of course there will be a pay for it. This will increase the MEMORY USAGE as you will also notice

KNOWN BUGS:

• "Ezinput 2.0" keyboard is included into our ROMs.Full Keyboard XT9 (Dictionary) function is not working, it is a KNOWN BUG of the keyboard package and "Memo ROM" itself.
There is also a new version, "Ezinput 2.1" as YozgatY already include it into his last ROM. But it has some other bugs. So we did not upgrade it.Shortly, until someone find a solution, we have to live with it

• "Today Tab" does not work anymore, starting from "Memo 2.5.4.0". Will try to find a fix for the loading error

• "Youtube Standalone App Support" and "Opera Youtube Support" do not work at Memo Rom [DONE / FIXED]

• JAD format is not supported with current "JAVA Packages". Please use "JAR" format files.

• "Manual backlight options" at "Settings -> System -> Power -> Backlight" does not work until the phone restart. Please use "mylight" application that is included into ROM until this bug is fixed. [DONE/ FIXED]

• It's more smooth and fast than 2012.
• VGA Porter- Programatix’s answer to this question:
Looking at the code itself, there are changes which make it more generic, added drag and remove and etc. Physically, can't see any changes. However, the way it is ported is different.

b-)What is new in Manila 2.5.2016?
• Default Home Tab with 12 Quicklinks and shows 2 columns of shortcuts at landscape mode
• You can now remove shortcuts in Home, People and Internet by tap-and-hold and drag them out from their socket.
• Fullscreen landscape Mod for “Photo” and “Music” Tabs. It is DISABLED by default but can be changed from “MEMO Sense Tweak- Enable FullScreen Tweak”. But before doing that “Auto Rotate Tweak” must be turned OFF.
o Landscape = rotated Sense, slider hidden. All tabs in newest Sense have this view.
o Full Screen - "Fake Landscape" - Only Photos & Videos, Music, & Documents tabs have this view. The slider moves of the screen, and the tab title is across the bottom. You can finger scroll through all the items. There are menu options on the left side, and an action button on the right (these are still cut off on the newest ported versions)

This is the Programs tab ported from the Qilin Manila 2.6. It is separate from the home tab quick links and has landscape support. Thks to “kimi_sae_ireba” for this great application.

For now, if you want to disable it, you have to use “Programs>Sense Tweaks>Program Tab Off”.

• BASIC FACEBOOK TAB:
First of all, thanks to “Meltwater” who make it possible. It is a “BASIC FACEBOOK Tab” so it is not fully functional, but still amazing enough

From main tab, you will only see “My Updates” (with link to your notifications like messages, invites, etc), EVENT and UPDATEs. When you click “My Updates”, your notifications will be shown as a new tab
In order to get it work, you have to link your contacts with Facebook accounts.
If it does not work please have a look in your “People tab -> Updates & Events Tab” at the end (this is the source page of this tab !), if you don't have people in there, you won't have them on facebook tab either.

In the Internet Tab, there are thumbnails for your favorites websites which are sadly not auto integrated with OPERA-10.But as MEMO Team, you give a MANUAL method. Please follow the guidelines and get your missing “Favorites Websites Thumbnails”

• If you have trouble with Auto Landscape mode or you want to DISABLE “Amarullz’s StartMenu”, please use "HTC Sense Tweak v0.99_beta.cab"

• All Tabs can be configured so you can custom them according to your needs by using “Setting Tab/Personalize\Home Screen tab” ("Twitter" and "Stocks" Tabs are disabled as defualt)

• If somehow you can not find "Enable my location" on Home (pressing right softkey), "Weather Tab>Menu"

• For SOLVING “Home TAB CLOCK Stopped Working” problem,
Go to "Settings > Personal > Phone". Then go to the "GSM/UMTS Services>Time Synchronization" click "Get Settings" and uncheck "Automatic change timezone"

• "Long Press End Key" is set to "End-Key" application. If you are not happy with its time out, please use this temp solution. "Press with your finger somewhere in the background (not the buttons) and it stays as long as you have your finger on the screen"

• "Advance Config" can be reached from "Setting Tab>Other>"Advanced Config". For more details please visit its original thread.

• If you don't like "BatteryMeter_xmatrix" program (Top line showing Battery %), you can remove it by deleting "BatteryMeterStarup" short-cut from "Windows/Startup" Folder.

• In order to activate "Incall recorder", during in call, press menu, scroll down, the last option is "Start Recording". If you select to record to Storage Card it doesn't work. For now it only works with main memory

• For now "Memo" ROMs does not support "Youtube application". But you can still use "OPERA-10" with this TWEAK to watch youtube videos.Thanks to "sancho1234" for original idea and to "big_raji" for briew explanation

• If you want to have stock People Tab with 3x5 instead of 4x4, please install "Memo People 3_5.cab". Do not forget to disable "Manila" before installation.

• Program Icons are updated with wonderfull new icon package, “DINIK´s HD2 IconSet”. Thks to "dinik" who creates them and gives us permission to use in our ROM.

BATTERY TIPS and GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING:

BATTERY SAVING TIPS
The first few days
• There is nothing special about this ROM to make it use more power than other ROMs except that it is tweaked for performance over battery life by Yozgat Y. After things have settled down, you should get a couple of days usage out of a charge.
• Immediately after flashing, you will probably observe very poor battery performance. This is due to the charging circuit having to reset itself.
• The battery meter will not settle down and give accurate readings for a few battery cycles. Give it a few days.
• For the first few battery charging cycles, try to charge to 100% with phone off and then allow battery to drain down quite a bit before recharging. This is so the meter will calculate drain well.

Recommendations
• Make sure you followed all of the flashing instructions to the letter. Especially the part about the hard reset.
• BEAM is on by default. Recommendation is to turn it off when you are not using it.
• 3G is on by default. Recommendation is to turn it off when you are not surfing the internet.
• Backlight is set to high. You might want to change that.
• Don't drain your batery all the way down until it dies. Not good for these types of batteries.
• The GPS sucks the battery dry. If you want to keep track of yourself, consider something like GPSToday that only wakes up the GPS once in a while.
• Maybe you don't really need aGPS enabled. Disable and check GPS lock times and battery drain.
• Applications that run from the storage card consume more power so install oft-used or background-type applications to main memory.
Troubleshooting
• If your radio does not match your rilphone.dll you can get crazy bad battery drainage. Use the recommended radio or spend some time working out a good combination for your phone/carrier/location/usage.
• Check to see that some application is not still running in the background. Check, do not assume. USe the full Task Manager application.
• Check to see if the screen is still on when you expect it to be off. Soft reset can fix that issue.
• Some radios work better with some carriers and locations. Asking everyone to tell you what radio to use may not give you the best answer. Be specific about your situation.
• More stuff you should see HERE

If you have tried all the above and still can't get over a day with moderate use, you may actually have a bad battery. Try getting a new one that is made by another manufacturer.

General Troubleshooting
If you have any problem, please REPORT it with ROM Version you are using. But please also remember that there are a lot of variables here and the ROM is just one of them. You may have any number of the following issues:

1) a bad flash
2) an incompatibility issue
3) a settings problem
4) a large RF source in your pants

If several people all determine that they have done XYZ and have problem ABC it may be that our chef can do something about it. Until such time, you have some troubleshooting to do. Namely;
1) Flash the stock ROM and spend a few days noting the behavior as you add your software
2) Flash an MEMO ROM and use it a few days without adding software
3) start adding software until the problem occurs."
