Will there be a lot of developer as to the nexus or the hero? or the forums are dead

id say until its properly released we cant say, but as its going to be out officially in the UK (and Europe?) before the N1 it may get some good support that way.

Another thought (and I'm by no mean an expert) the N1 and Desire and very similar so N1 mods could be easily ported

yes absolutely

It seems only the BT hardware is different that's why the N1 users couldn't manage to use it under Desire ROM
