Default HTC Ozone/Cedar 00.00MB and Stuck on Splash Solved!!

i got one of these devices a few days ago and didnt really worked until today. been messing around with itsutils with no success, not even to app unlock it!
solution is as simple and classic as it gets.
1. enter tricolor screen aka bootloader, volume down + power.
1. open mtty, select usb and press enter key
2. type "task 28" then enter key lots of bad blocks should show up!!
3. type "task 29" then enter this one should not give any errors.
4. reset device to tricolor screen and flash stock rom.
5. wait for it to boot and DONE!!

dunno exactly if both task are need but i did them in that order after a reboot and worked. feel free to ask.
remember to uncheck Allow usb connections on activesync.

Bugger... I wish I still had my phone on hand to try this out; I ended up sending it in for repair... almost 3 weeks ago. =/ I had a problem with my Ozone which caused the boot screen to lock up and apparently Sprint Snaps had the same issue caused by a "memory block issue." Wish I could have tried this to see if it would remedy that also. Cheaper than shipping and a lot faster too.

Glad to see that the 0 mb issue has a solution though!

Do you mean that it works for the boot lockup problem where it sticks on the HTC logo? Rrrrgggg... If so, I just want PCD to send it back now!

Wish I could. I'm supposed to get my repaired phone back from PCD pretty soon since I ran out of solutions to try about three weeks ago. The only other person that I found on here with this same issue had sent his phone in before me also. If this could help that issue, then Ozone users like me could boldly flash their phones without worrying about this lockup issue.

Perhaps I'll start a new topic looking for people with the lockup issue so they can test it.

Well, you don't have to look too far I suppose... I just took my ozone out of the bottom of my drawer and surprise surprise, it is still in one piece!

I tried using MTTy. I have Windows 7 here with WMDC but even when I uncheck the allow USB connections option it doesn't connect. Get the "wceusbsh001: Cannot open port!" when I type in USB on the dropdown box. (only comm1 and 2 are listed)
Any solutions? I've even tried disabling the services of Windows Mobile Device center. No go. Restarted my computer, no go either.

I really want to switch back to my Ozone from my Moto Q. Please?

all the best,
Tomi
