Default So thos who have it. The screen, glass or plastic?

Only interested in replies from those who have received their product, not guesses based on speculation in the press.

Confirmed as glass, but with NO oleophobic coating (which i'm sure i read somewhere that it would have it!!)

Oh well, screen protector double pack from that well known Jersey company for 4.99 inc free delivery. They get them in on Monday, here by Tues??

Regards

They usually take a couple of days to deliver. I'm just about to order them, hope i don't get the screen scratched.

If you use screen protector, how about the responsiveness? Because it is capacitive screen, it suppose to touch your finger?

If it's glass, why bother with a screen protector. I've been using an iPhone for ages with a glass screen, and only have it in a silicon case with no screen protection. Not a mark on the screen yet. Only way you will scratch it is with a diamond ring or similar IMO.

That's what I thought ... But probably the same like me, we are used to WM resistive screen and first thing first would be put a screen protection for new phone.

I cannot imagine my finger would be able to scratch the glass screen. Probably it can happen when we are not careful or drop the phone, it could break though.

And I hate if it will be less responsive because of the screen protection.

However, I remembered this article:

Beware to not put in tight pocket!

I used a screen protector on my Hero and it didn't affect responsiveness at all.

I bought 2 htc protectors for my hd2.. Used them for a whole day then they came off.. She been naked ever since.. Then again I am extra careful with with it and clean it thoroughly each day with a microfiber cloth and use a new cloth each week... lol Wish I never put one on my 3gs screen now.. How ever the back on the 3gs is another matter and defo needs rear protection. My desire will be going naked as well.
