Default line 59: /data/local/samba/bin/samba-rc: not found

I got it to insall no worries on my Hero, but starting it up i get:

Code:
sh /data/local/samba/bin/samba-rc start
/data/local/samba/bin/samba-rc: line 59: /data/local/samba/bin/samba-rc: not found
/data/local/samba/bin/samba-rc: line 59: /data/local/samba/bin/samba-rc: not found
(line 59: esac)

However, I can access the sdcard share fine

In a quick 2m30s test, I copied 5.38MB with max speed 115.5kB/s and average 36.7kB/s, so it did progressively slow throughout the transfer, but kept a connection.

Very nice, thankyou for this!

Just one other thing, would it be a hastle to have a choice domain name? my share shows up under Mshome domain in Windows.

hi jimmy, also came across some other troubles, dont know if its actually a samba problem, but when i set up a user named like my windows user with same password, i can not access the share anymore.

also i see in smb.conf loadprinters = no and disable spoolss = yes. nontheless there is a printershare advertised in the network, which does not contain printers (surprisingly ;) )

I got this to install on my Nexus one using my custom build and it works flawlessly. Would it be possible to get this cooked into a custom ROM?

I think he wants to integrate into his homebacked rom so users have it already set up when they install it.
