Hey gimpsta - mt4g, switching from Sense to CM6, I tried to pull the stock htc_ime.apk and htc_ime.odex file from /system/app and push them to cm6, but it refuses to work.

Any idea why? I ended up using your mod which is great, but I'd still like to understand why the oem keyboard refused to work in cm6.

i follewd instructions and cant get it to work.. i am rooted and running stock rom. installed both apk's and i get the HTC IME mod in my keyboard seetings but my theme wont load up. help anyone?

gIMpSTa i cant get theme to work.. apk"s installed just fine.. i have HTC_ IMEoption in keybord.. i seleted and it changes style of keyboard but doesnt load theme. Please help

I had a similar problem. Try using Titanium Backup to uninstall the old keyboard (HTC_IME). Then reinstall the themed version. It worked for me. Note that this will only work if you are rooted.

And there's no need to post twice. Especially when only 16 minutes have passed between posts.
