Default Bug in weather widgit?

When I go to the weather widget and try to scroll to my "current location" I get a force close of Sense.

I have noticed that my current location comes up as 0 degrees longitude and 0 degrees latitude (I don't live in the north pole!).

I did get this working at one point but did a full reset for another reason and forgot how I did it. I do remember being surprised so it was definitely more luck than judgement.

Has anyone else come across this?

Note: Im very slack at replying to PMs, since I live a busy life and as much as I love XDA, I rarely get a chance to get on it these days.
It's best to questions to the forums, as I may take a long time to respond.

Very cold! not really, it was just force closing so I never saw it. Actually, I don't know why as I have done nothing but now it just says "No weather data available".

I guess it's good if it doesn't force close but I would like it to work for local weather. Has anyone got this widget showing weather for their current location. E.g. Croydon (current)?

Mine changes as I drive along, works a treat and is one of the things I love about the phone

Yes, working on mine, but unfortunately the placename it's picked for where I am, despite being the correct name is not the correct place! EG Newtown, Wales vs Newtown, England.

I seems to think it's a balmy 16 Celsius where I am, not the 6 it actually is!

Clearly because that's 90 degrees North Latitude! 0 0 is the equator even less likely that your living there.
