awsome bro. Gonna give your kitchen a shot. just got my hd2 a couple of days ago and was going to look into cooking for the device. One question? are Touch pro/2 packages work with HD2 cooking enviroment. They are for the evirus kitchen.

For someone who is new to cooking his/her own ROMs, is there a bit of an "Idiot's Guide to..." sort of thing, or at least some documentation that's at least somewhat newbie-friendly?

there is a lot of information here on how to cook your own rom. i dont remember the links off the top of my head and i dont feel like searching right now for them but just use the search bar at the top and type in how to cook a rom. i am sure you will find something instantly.
