Default PlayNow App Force Close

Can someone help me. I turned on the playnow in mediascape and now it always force closes because of playnow. Is there a way to turn off playnow or fix the problem in anyway? A hard reset maybe?

it happened to me and I fixed it with a hard reset. There probably another way to do it but I just didnt have the time to look around and I had no info on my phone so I just did a restore to factory setting and it got fixed. Its probably because playnow is not compatible in the USA.
HTC touch pro is the way to go...ya digg

Default Need to update

there is an update out there, it's called version R16 (you may have R14).

X10 does not find this OTA, so you have to use the SE update service while connected to the computer to fix this (it worked for me)

also it only works in UK / Europe. (i am in US so i can't use it)

Default PlayNow

Change the timezone to something like GMT+x (i.e. GMT+2) and then start PlayNow. Then the update should be available for download. After the update is finished then you should be able to set any timezone you want and PlayNow should work without force closing.

Default Re: PlayNow App Force Close

You are my hero/heroine! I've been dealing with the playnow fc problem for a while now. Your time zone solution worked perfectly. Thank you so very much.

No more fc when messages come in!
