Default Torch Application

I was wondering if anyone out there has found a torch application? Not one that just turns the screen white, but one that actually turns on the LED to use as a torch?

Theres an app called "The Camera" ;)

If you activate the camera and then go to advanced settings, photo light on, bobs your uncle :)

An app would be better like as its a bit of a faff on, but it works :)

^ Yeah, my current iPAQ has a photo light like the X10 (rather than a flash), and I do the same on it when I need a light in a pinch. Works far better than a white screen (at least on the 2.3" screen on the iPAQ). Great for reading magazines in a theater before a movie.

As interim solution i configured Barcode Reader to use the photo light and put a shortcut to home screen.

So if pressing the shortcut the flash light goes on instantly.

only problem: barcode reader tries to focus and focus and focus .....
(so it's not the best way, but really helpful for quick lighting)

+1

btw this has app been out for weeks, note that if you use HelixLauncher it gets really buggy and you have to keep replacing the widget to get it to work again. But on the standard X10 homescreen I've had no issues.

Default Re: Torch Application

Hi. I'm running helix launcher and have 'flashlightapp' which works fine. Widget is simple and effective.
