Anyway, the ROM is a bit screwed in my topaz, the slider is big and black, and the 3G connection works in Opera only.

I found also that you didn't change the registry key:

 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila] "IsWM6.5"=dword:0

That's why the settings link doesn't work. It shoud be in the manila core package reg.

Strange I didn't see the slider problem on my Topaz when I tested it.
And the 3G connection did work without problems for email and Opera, but I will check this again.

For the Japanese, I use the one from Ookii.org, but I will try to get the keyboard from this thread working.

Did you try HardReset after flashing?

very good job BeeGee......i made rom from your kitchen....till now it works excellent.....slider is ok on my topaz.....i will continue testing it.....

changing the registry key to 0 it worked for me.

Yes i did hard reset right after i flashed the rom.

PS I downloaded you kitchen and found that the reg is still "isWM6.5 - DWORD:1" in EXT\Topaz\COMMON\XXX-WM65\Manila_Settings_2_5_20121232_0\app.reg

....everything working fine only the youtube player has connection error(from the opera link) i can't manage to work...........BeeGee any ideas?

I messed up the kitchen, have to clean up first then I will check for this. I guess its a bad link or a mistake in the registry. One of the glitches I expected when putting manila 2.1 on a WM6.1 ROM. I am not sure if I cooked in YouTube packages, that might be the reason.

hi beegee! appreciate your work, your rom is fast and stable. the only thing that is not right is the melange between english and japanese language here and there (months in calendar for instance). but, typing the url in opera is when it start to get real dirty. every few characters it converts them into japanese idioms, could notget anywhere with that.

.....BeeGee second kitchen is better indeed.....youtube player is working,screen is somehow more responsible....i don't have problems with japanese fonts because i didn't cook them in.......ROM is stable and fastest then anything before ....you left the pagepool on 6 and that is the only thing i changed to 18......fantastic job,thanks again

For the months in the calender I have to change some Manila files. I will do this for the next update. For the Opera problem I have to check. Which keyboard did you cook in? The one from Ookii or the Japanese IME? I use the Ookii input system and have no problems.
