I used to do that on my N95 and it was great, but I've never seen a winmo version of the same. The closest I have come is to use MyMobiler (http://www.mymobiler.com) which gives you remote control of the phone on your PC.

You can use i-nigma reader.

Then create a barcode and select SMS, you enter in the number and the text then scan it in.
It's pretty neat.

Or you could just post something that is 100% irrelevant to the question. Whatever.

Excuse me?

If you install the app 'i-nigma reader' from opnmarket or find it online. You can then create an SMS message on your PC using that link I supplied. It will then create a barcode which you scan in on your phone and you press send. It then sends it through your HTC, while writing it on your PC.

It's not irrelvant whatsoever. It's an extremely good app/alternative to what he wanted.

Thanks.

Korv's post of course is not irrelevant, but rather silly workaround (shame to HTC not Korv). Really weird that HTC/ WinMobile does not have the functionality that does have every mobile phone (

mymobiler works well just tried it and really easy to control your phone, didn't show hard buttons though and was slightly laggy, but very easy to type and send msgs quickly using the comp.
