is it possible to upload the install files to another hosting service? multiupload is down.
I'm currently trying to get an emulator and a deployment tool together on my tablet - without having the overhead of installing the SDK and VS. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1496139)

Download the official SDK iso, mount or unpack it and then install either sde_xde2-enu.msi or sde_xde2x64-enu.msi - that's it.

To deploy xaps (without installing the complete SDK) i suggest you to use XapDeployX. (The trick is to install CoreCon2 components and vs_sdeprolightup-enu from the 7.0 SDK)

For general information: There should be a possibility to use the emulator in Windows 8. I'm trying to get a work-around.

Good luck on that work-around. XDE is a VM (not actually an emulator), and Win8 doesn't seem to like legacy VMs. If you manage to get it working, please let us all know how!

I have WDDM 1.0 grafic card on my notebook. It will work or as in full SDK my card is not supported?

OK, got it! The emulator runs on my Windows 8 machine!
Either install Win8 x86 or uninstall Hyper-V on your x64 version. Then it should work. If not, then you have to run the x64 inside a VM, because of some hardware things...

I installed the whole SDK and uninstalled all the tools I don't need so I've got just my emulator and the deployment tools on my Win8 tablet.

Only drawback: My tablet is too slow to view the WP7 fluently. However ... it works!

Does anyone have a current working link for either the x64 or x86 version?
Sadly it seems the Megaupload link prompts you to download something else instead of the emulator, and the dropbox links have all stopped working.
