[13MAY] Livven Windows Phone 7 Metro dialer skin [WVGA/QVGA released] [W.I.P.]

The Metro look of Windows Phone 7 is quite popular, because of its extreme simplicity and cleanness. No unnecessary effects like drop-shadows, gradients, beveled edges, but only plain black, white and different shades of grey.

This is a dialer which imitates the WP7-style. Remember it's not final, for example the in-call screen hasn't been skinned yet.

WVGA version for HTC phones (like HD2, Touch Pro2, Diamond2, HD etc.) released here

Because it is based off the "EtPhone.dll", which originated from some old E-TEN phone, it only supports QVGA.

Instructions
Download this TouchFLO 2D dialer or Minimal dialer and install it first. This step is necessary because the in-call screen isn't skinned yet, so those CABs will give you some alternate graphics to make this skin usable. Then install the acctached CAB and soft-reset.

Woww that looks really great I was hoping that someone could make such a dailer nice work! can´t wait for wqvga.

I was looking at the image files for the 6.5.x dialer, and gave up.

Looks like this EtPhone dialer is much lighter than Phone Canvas, which is always good for older devices.

have you start with this project ?

I reckon the greatest advantage of the WP7 styling is that it's perfectly compatible.

WM6 is only 16-bit coloured, complex themes will not look fantastic. Poor support for true transparency means sharp corners work well too.

This is the best looking dialer... I'm also interested in a WQVGA version... hope you'll consider this resolution also.
