Default reinstalling shipped rom on tytnII

hi all, i must say that i really tried to search the solution but all i got
were referring flashing for cooked rom or if i had cooked rom and want to go back to the original.
i had to hear your opinion

as bought my htc tytnII with wm6.0, i went to htc support site and upgraded to official 6.1 os
(HTC TyTN II - Windows Mobile® 6.1 Professional Upgrade)

and then i moved to serch heb support, and found installation that run threw the pc.
after the installation i weren't happy with the results, and i even have adv commercial on botscreen.

so i turn to the HR, i thought it will give me again.. fresh start.
but right when he started to configure the system and started restarting
the heb support and the adv was there!

i just want pure start, with no leeching installations that beyond my control.
so im asking if reinstalling the upgrade from the htc site will give me what i seek?

i had to ask, i herd the word brick and got afraid..
although in the downloading screen in htc site it said:
"If it is the same version and your device is operating normally, there is no need to reinstall the software."

thanks in advance,
yaniv

You can reinstall the software from the HTC with no worries. If the rom is not meant for your device, it will not install.

The only way to harm your phone , really , is if your phone is currently running a cooked rom, and you try to flash a rom for another model of phone.

You are going to have bootscreens on every rom, windows screens, HTC screens, carrier screen, they may seem like advertising to you, but they are just normal bootscreens. If you do not like them, there are several threads here on changing and installing custom bootscreens and splash screens.
