Default Just thinking about that optical trackpad.

Flip the phone over and use it as a nice wireless mouse for your laptop? You could use the volume rocker for mouse clicks. Maybe not the most comfortable mouse ever, but It's always with you. Probably better than a lot of laptop trackpads. Of course you would want to use this on a clean soft mouse pad.

Are you nuts? lol

The amount of scratches that will cause will be insane. Not to mention it's a bit heavy for a mouse and that the optical trackpad is fairly insensitive tbh.

Thumbs up I think you missed his point

Even though, he said turn phone upside down, you don't have to.

Logic is good, use it with your fingers and and on screen you can have 2 buttons or may be more with many different functionality.

I see this as a real project for someone to take over.

Cheers,
Hemant
