Default YouTube Problems

I cooked a Sense 2.5 ROM on WM 6.5 Build 21901. Everything works great, but I am having problems with Youtube. The program starts up fine and the thumbnails all load, but when I click on a video, it always says "This video cannot be played". I am not having any data connection issues. But this happens on both Wifi and 3G.

Has anyone had this problem, and is there a solution?

By the way, the Google Youtube app works fine.

Thanks in advance.

You know what? I have the same problem. I'm using PPCKitchen, and the problem is consistent across all builds of WM, not just that one.

Did you try playing with Streaming_SDK?

I don't know if you use mixed packages but I recommend to use packages coming from the same source.

Dshow
mHub
Streaming_SDK
Youtube

Look in the multimedia packages.

I prefer to use packages that come from the same stock rom.

I also read somewhere that the flash packages need to be from the same build as the youtube player.

It may have helped fix an issue that I had.
