i know, that and it gives you a ton of free ram for good performance. i wish we could do this with the 2.1 roms.

Im not saying anything bad about 1.5 and it might work better for some.

I have to agree that Pancake was about as fast a 1.5 rom as you can find. It's the only 1.5 nandroid backup that I still have on my phone in case I need to go backward from 2.1 for any reason...

fixxxer go for it.. im gonna put 1.5 back on my brothers hero,, every rom ive tried on his has the audio bug for some reason.. mine is perfect. who knows. but i say go for it.
