Reception problem

Hi guys, I'm having some problems with Myn's Warm Donut.

In overall, the phone works great and performs much better than Windows Mobile. But I've been getting some problems with the reception, here's a short story to what happened;

I have two phones dedicated for work and personal, one being my Polaris and the other an old phone. The old phone's SIM card runs solely on 2G network, while the Polaris is fitted with a 3G SIM.

So recently the calls required on my old phone went up, to an extent that I dropped the phone into a bucket of water. So I had to make a call at that point of time, and I've transferred the 2G SIM into the phone and made a call.

The first call was fine, but later on, it automatically disconnects and claims that it's not on a registered network in Android. Several 2G SIMs came back with the same results, but all 3G SIMs I've tested were working fine and never had a network hiccup.

I don't want to merge my contacts onto one number due to my work nature, is there a way to address this issue?
