can i use t mobile htc hd2 in australia

hi every one im thinking about buying a tmous htc hd 2 cause of the 1gb rom 576 mb ram , im just wandering if the phone will work in australia 3g , vodafone , i found out download band for voda is 2100 and upload 900

can some one shed any light on this should i buy the tmous htc hd 2 or t8585

The TMOUS HD2 is actually the least useful of the three varieties to you (TMOUS, Telstra, European/international) - I use a TMOUS in New Zealand, and the gist of it is that it will work absolutely fine once unlocked, but it has a useless second 3G frequency - you'll only be able to use 2100, since the TMOUS uses 1700 as (I think) rather than the more standard 900.

The Telstra variety has 2100/850, and the European HD2 has 2100/900.

So, if you just want the extra ROM space, go for the TMOUS. But if you want better 3G coverage, it depends whether you want Voda or Telstra as a service provider.
