If possible can I use incredible as a wifi hotspot like mifi or palm without using cord?

not without root and mods.

I completely new to this cellphone I had an Omnia i910 before upgrading to this phone.. So the only question that I have is.

Is there any app to transfer the internet from my phone to my laptop.. Something like Internet Sharing in windows mobile????

refer to the wiki here scroll about three quarters of the way down until you see "Tethering out of the box" follow those instructions and you will have free tethering. there is pdanet but the free version has some restrictions.
