INSTALLATION

Works perfectly on my phone (stock rom,black skin installed, rooted)
Have a Nandroid backup
Have a Goldcard
Have recovery
Backup your original apk

Instructions

push com.htc.resources.apk to /system/framework/

note: for a black and clear lock screen you must also install my clear lockscreen mod.

edit: not important yet, i've installed transparent notification and lock-screen too

Is it normal or i haven't black lock screen yet? Colour seems too clear..

how do i install this? if i use the HTC Sync, then it asks me if i want to replace the system file. I say yes, then it runs a few seconds.
then comes up with some error about not being able to install it on this phone.

You have to root the Tattoo with the instructions in the development thread. Then use the previously installed adb shell with adb push com.htc.resources.apk /system/framework.

I have installed this in a not-stock-rom and it reverted the lockscreen to the original android one. But with the background transparend, I don't know how to have the htc one!
