Default Haret question
This may be a dumb question but...
If I'm in a loaded instance of AOSP 2.1 can Haret or Gen Y be used to load another instance of android?

No. HaRET is a Windows CE executable which must be run in Windows CE (Windows Mobile). When HaRET is run, it unloads Windows Mobile from RAM before loading the Linux kernel, and later Android. Thus, once Android is loaded, running HaRET is impossible as it cannot run under Linux.
