Default Overclock faster than 528???

Any help here would be greatly appreciated everyone.... I've seen numerous claims, posts, and videos on how to clock the MyTouch faster than 528. The most recent video I saw involved creating a text file, saving it to the SD card, and then setting the device clock speeds to be read from that file. However, even though I choose 614400, SetCPU still reads my clock speed at 528. Am I missing something? Or is it perhaps not possible with the ROM I have? I am running CM 4.2.15.1 w/ Ted's Espresso Theme in case that information is at all helpful.

Default Re: Overclock faster than 528???

Correct me if I'm wrong, 528 is not overclocked, it's Just that our phone is underclocked to 300+(unsure of the real value). if you ar really looking To overclock your Phone, you can take a look at g1 development section. And of course. There are changes Done to the kernels, so the text that you saw is just to control the scaling of the CPU frequencies(again correct me if I'm wrong). My phone personally overclocked to 576mhz, by far the most stable in accordance to the ones who came up with all overclocked kernels.
